Melanie Groendyke brings a wealth of museum experience to the board and will be a very helpful resource in areas of programming and exhibit interpretation. Construction is well underway with the first phase of construction now complete and the steel outline of the building visible. A beautiful, scenic walkway now connects the upper level of the Administrative Wing with the lower level outdoor event venue, the Plaza, overlooking Government Springs Park.

As part of the Oklahoma Art in Public Places project, we are offering a very special naming opportunity for the entrance stair rail of the new Regional Heritage Center. The art project will be the insert of the 30-foot metal stair rail leading up each side of the atrium to the lobby. This will be a one-of-a kind creation, commissioned exclusively for the Heritage Center. This special naming opportunity is available for a donation of $20,000. For more information please contact us at 580-234-8999.
Many employers will match charitable donations made by their employees. Ask your employer about matching your donation to the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center.
